Christian Chukwu, advised Coach Sunday Oliseh.

The Former Super Eagles Coach, Christian Chukwu, has advised Coach Sunday Oliseh to use the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) slated to hold in Rwanda this month as an avenue to discover more quality players for the Super Eagles.
Chukwu noted that the on-going restructuring of the senior national team would be easier if the Eagles coaches created equal opportunity for both the home-based and overseas-based players to jostle for shirts without sentiments.
The former Harambee Stars of Kenya coach explained that the CHAN has a big role to play in the development of African football, as the performance of home-based Eagles in Rwanda would reveal the standard of the Nigerian domestic league.
He urged the players to give their best in the championship to ensure the country maintained its credibility in Africa football, adding, “I am delighted that Nigeria is participating in the tournament, especially at this moment when the team is on a rebuilding process.
“This will enable the coaches select credible players for the Nations Cup qualifiers. The NFF has done a good job by giving the team the chance to prepare in South Africa ahead of the championship.
