Groom-to-be missed wedding because he punched fiancee in nose a day before their nuptials.

A groom-to-be missed his wedding because he assaulted his fiancee the day BEFORE their nuptials, a court heard.
Violent Christopher Kearns, 43, punched his partner during an argument and left the bride-to-be with a nosebleed.
After the incident, Kearns was then treated in hospital for an overdose before being recalled to prison over the assault.
He had previously been sentenced to three years and four months for the manslaughter of a father-of-two.
Prosecutor Alex Mann told the court that the victim, from Morecombe, Lancs., did not want Kearns to be prosecuted.
Mr Mann said: “The victim is his partner and has been for 12 months’ time. She says the defendant has
bipolar disorder and has assistance in relation to that.
“She’s aware he has previous convictions which led to him entering prison when he didn’t receive support and the medication he was used to.
