Taliban kill 12-year-old in deadly New Year's Day suicide bomb attack on French restaurant

The boy was killed in the terrorist attack on a restaurant still frequented by many foreigners.

A suicide bomber killed a 12-year-old boy and a security guard when he blew himself up in a French restaurant in Afghanistan.
The chilling terror attack happened at the bustling "Le Jardin" restaurant in Kabul on New Year's Day.
The restaurant is one of just a handful that is still frequented by foreigners and around 15 people were also injured in the Taliban attack .
The incident came almost two years after a suicide attack on a Lebanese restaurant in the city killed 21 people, including 13 expatriates, and prompted many foreign organisations to withdraw staff or place tight restrictions on their movements.
