The 21 year old is currently tied to the Bundesliga club until 2019 but looks set to sign an extension which will keep him in Germany until 2021
Julian Weigl will reject the opportunity to leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer and instead sign a new contract.
The 21 year old midfielder has established himself as a key player in Thomas Tuchel's Dortmund side and has made 20 appearances in all competitions this term.
Weigl's form has seen him linked with a move away from Germany at the end of the season, with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City all said to be interested in agreeing a deal.
The Germany international is currently tied to Dortmund until 2019 but the new terms, said to be worth €1.5 million per year, will keep him at Westfalenstadion until 2021.
