CHELSEA midfielder Eden Hazard believes the club can still end a disappointing season with two trophies.
The Blues dismissed manager Jose Mourinho in December with the club sitting 16th in the league and just a point above the relegation zone following a run of nine defeats in 16 games.
Guus Hiddink, returning to the club for the second time, has guided his side to draws against Watford and Manchester United and will search for his first win against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
With the league title out of the picture, Hazard feels an FA Cup tie at home to Scunthorpe United next week and a Champions League contest with Paris Saint-Germain offer the chance of trophies.
“We are in a good way right now, we just need to start winning more games to bring the confidence back and create more positivity,” Hazard told the club’s official website.
“If the second half of the season goes well we can win two trophies so we just want to take it game by game, we don’t want to look too far into the future. It’s just about winning as many matches as possible.”
Hiddink guided Chelsea to an FA Cup final victory over Everton during his first short spell in 2009.
