No one was hurt in the incident which took place at Norwich International Airport following Manchester City's FA Cup win over Norwich yesterday
Vincent Kompany was on a private plane that veered off the runway at Norwich International Airport yesterday, an hour after the Manchester City skipper watched his team progress into the FA Cup fourth round.
The airport was closed for four hours following the incident as the aircraft was removed, report the Manchester Evening News .
The Belgian defender, who missed the game with a calf problem, is safe and returned to Manchester unharmed.
The Citation CJ2 left the runway as planned at 6.07 but had to come to a stop on the grass before it could take off.
There were four others on board, including representatives of Mr Kompany . No one was hurt in the incident.
