Sallah Ali waived a meat cleaver at officers shouting Islamic slogans including 'Allahu Akbar' before he was shot dead today
A knife-wielding man who was shot dead by police in Paris after attempting to get into a station has been identified.
Sallah Ali, 20, from Morocco, was allegedly 'obsessed' by Islamic State and found carrying a piece of paper with the terrorist organisation's flag on it, officials said.
He was gunned down today after appearing like a suicide bomber and waiving a meat cleaver outside the Goutte d'Or commissariat, close to the Gare du Nord Eurostar hub.
It happened on the first anniversary of the Charlie Hebdo terror attacks.
