RUMOURS: Chelsea Make SIMEONE Top Priority

PREMIER LEAGUE

The Atletico Madrid boss has won La Liga and the Europa League at the Vicente Calderon as well as reaching the Champions League final, but could he leave for Stamford Bridge?

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly identified Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone as the man he wants to become the club's new boss, according to reports.

Guus Hiddink is currently in temporary charge of the Blues following the sacking of Jose Mourinho in December after a disastrous start to the season.

A host of high-profile coaches have since been linked with the post, including Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola and Manchester City's Manuel Pellegrini.

But okdiario reports that it is Simeone - who has won La Liga and the Europa League at the Vicente Calderon - who is of most interest to Chelsea chief Abramovich, with the Russian billionaire said to be willing to pay him €10 million a year.
